Event Information

Amazing Race Niagara is a car rally, scavenger hunt & team competition that takes place on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

It’s a fun team based event for friends, colleagues or families, where teams of four travel by car throughout the Niagara Region competing against each other & the clock, completing various activities & challenges in order to receive clues for the next location. You can ‘Be a Hero just for one day’ and let children, youth and their families impacted by abuse in our region know you care.

Join this fun event and support the important work of The Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara to increase child abuse prevention, awareness, and response to children, youth and families throughout Niagara.

For ease of registration and fundraising all payments and pledges are now online and can be paid by credit card or debit card via PayPal.

Registration fee is $25 per person and includes a light breakfast, snacks, team survivor bag & dinner after the race!   All Teams must consist of four (4) people to ensure fairness throughout the race.  Race capacity is 30 Teams so Register Early!

Once your payment method has been processed you will receive an email confirming your registration and details on how to fundraise for your pledges.

To support programs & services provided by The Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre, each team is required to raise a minimum pledge commitment of $400 to enter the race. Prizes will be awarded for the team who raises the most funds – all money must be received before noon on event day to qualify.

Once your payment method has been processed you will receive an email confirming your pledge payment along with a charitable tax receipt for Income Tax.  Please save this for your records.

In the event of a cancellation:

Should you decide at any time not to participate, or you do not show up to Registration on event day, all pledges received have been receipted and are processed donations.  The $25.00 registration fees, which is not receipted, will be assumed donations to Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara and you will receive a charitable tax receipt for this amount.

Additionally, should Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara cancel this event for any reason all pledges received have been receipted and are processed donations.  The $25.00 individual registration fee will be reimbursed to the sender via Paypal unless expressly stated by email by the sender.  Should you wish to apply the registration fee as a donation, you will be issued a charitable tax receipt for this amount.

As pledges are donations and are receipted immediately by the Amazing Race Niagara Site, they are already processed as donations.

Registration fees however are used to cover dinner & survivor bags, so they will be reimbursed via the method received (paypal) unless the participant requests that the Centre keep the $25.00 as a donation in which case we will then issue a receipt for this amount.

Rain Delay

Amazing Race Niagara is traditionally a “Rain or Shine” event, we do not let a little rain stop us, however in the event of severe weather conditions that could pose safety concerns for participants, the event will be held on the next Sunday following the scheduled date.
